Campbell County, Tn. has several ghost towns, most of them the remains of Coal Towns from the 1880’s thru about 1950. These include Morley, Habersham, Anthres, Eagan, and Pruden between Jellico and Middlesboro; Whistle Creek, Wooldridge, Proctor, Red Ash, Kennesee, and Newcome north and east of Jellico. South of LaFollette is Grantsboro, which can only be seen at low water in Norris Lake.
Other ghost towns include Royal Blue, Pioneer, and Elk Valley between Caryville and Jellico.
