Processing and Shipping Policies &Procedures

Our intent, here at The Rocker Box, is to provide you with fast, efficient, and cost effective service in the processing of your orders. To do so, we keep overhead costs to a minimum by using the most cost-effective means of processing and shipping of items. Shipping and packing materials are re-used (if possible) to keep some of these costs down. We do not charge a handling fee, but do charge for postage/shipping and packing materials (boxes, envelopes, bubble wrap, etc). With the sky-rocketing costs of postage increasing every year or two, we find it the best way to keep your costs down.


Order Processing

Orders are reviewed the day the order is made and normally shipped with 1-business day.

Out of Stock Items

Although every effort is made to ensure that all items are in stock at all times, occasionally an item is sold out before orders from suppliers are received. If this occurs, the person who placed the order will be notified of the delay, with an estimate of when the order will be shipped. If ordered by credit card, the out-of-stock item(s) will not be charged until it is ready for shipment.

Payment by Personal/Business Check

All checks must clear prior to shipping of the order. This may take up to 10-days, but the average is 5-7 days. This prevents the added costs of collecting on bad checks, keeping overall prices lower.

Payment by Paypal or AmazonPay

Paypal and AmazonPay are online payment services at which the customer pays for the by credit card or electronic funds transfer. Paypaland AmazonPay verify the address of the user and provides this information to us. Due to online fraud using credit cards, shipments of orders must be to verified addresses only.

Payment by Money Orders/Cashiers Checks

Shipments are normally made with 1-business day of receipt of the money order or cashiers check.

Payment by Credit Cards

Orders are normally shipped within 1-business day of the approval of the credit card transaction. If the credit card transaction is "declined," a notice is sent to the person placing the order regarding the declined status. We do not receive the reason the card was declined. Usually, however, the transaction is declined due to the credit card number being entered incorrectly, the expiration date is incorrect, or the billing address or telephone number on file with the card's issuing bank is incorrect. If this is the case, re-ordering the products with the correct information will speed the transaction. If the credit card bank declined the transaction for any other reason (insufficient amount remaining on the account, lost/stolen card/etc.), that bank's customer service must be contacted to resolve the matter.


Overseas Orders


Country customs laws will be honored and checked (on the U.S.P.S. website) to ensure that, which has been ordered, is legal for shipment to that country.


Metal Detectors will not be shipped overseas.


Those ordering from overseas and receiving products outside of the United States and its territories (APO/FPO considered "within U.S.") are responsible for all VATs, Duties, and other monetary and non-monetary requirements required at time of delivery.


Orders will be sent as retail sales (not gifts).


Payment must be made in U.S. negotiable funds (i.e. U.S.P.S. money Order, etc.) and must clear prior to shipment. Credit cards can only be accepted using Paypal, and shipped only to the verified address on file with Paypal.

Shipping of Orders

All shipping costs quoted are for U.S. and U.S. Territory destinations. Any destinations outside these parameters require additional shipping, which will be added to the total charges. 


Shipping will either be by USPS Mail or UPS depending on the item.

Media Mail

"Media" is defined by the US Post Office as printed material, Video Tapes and DVDs, and CDs. Media Mail can ONLY be used for shipping containing ONLY media. Any order that contains items other than media, and has as the shipping option "Media" will be charged the postage necessary to ship by another means (i.e. Parcel post, Priority, etc). A notice stating this policy is present at the time of checkout, and continuing to checkout constitutes agreement with this policy.


With the exception of books, returns of merchandise is possible within 30-days of purchase under the following conditions

Merchandise returned must be in NEW, RESALABLE CONDITION with boxes, containers, etc.

Once the merchandise has been received, and it is in new, resalable condition, the purchase price will be returned.

Shipping charges will not be refunded.

Items damaged during shipment may be returned for a full refund only if the shipping company confirms the damage was from the shipping process.
